Bonjour mon cher Alexei ,je voulais te remercier encore pour tout ce que tu as apporté pour le Canadiens de Montréal.Depuis 1994 que je vous suis avec les Rangers de New York quand vous avez raflé la coupe Stanley. Je rêve telement vous rencontrer.Je me reconnais en vous.Avec vos oeuvres carricatives et votre implication auprès de la communauté et des enfants,me touche tellement au plus profond de mon coeur de mes tripes,votre fondation pour les enfants une belle cause qui me tient à coeur, j'ai tellement investie en dons. Parce que ce n'est pas tous les enfants qui ont tous la santé parce que je sais c'est quoi d'être malade,lorsque j'étais petite fille j'ai due affronter la maladie j'ai due me battre pour vivre. Les enfants sont nos espoirs,notre avenir,nos rayons de soleils.Mon coeur parle, vous avez tellement le coeur sûr la main à la bonne place,un charisme fous, vous possedez une belle et une vielle âme,mais c'est beau et merveilleux,les artistes. le possède. Vous êtes pas juste le beau et grand joueur ,vous êtes humain,sincère,et vrai. Mr. Kovalev, Welcome to Ottawa !! I can't believe your an Ottawa Senator now. I have been a huge fan for many years and playing for the Sens is going to be awesome. Can't wait to see you play with Daniel Alfedsson and Jason Spezza on the top line. I think you are the missing link to putting the Sens over the top !!! Congrats and welcome to Ottawa. Dear Kovi I was born in Serbia (Ex Yugoslavia) and came to Canada in 1995. From the day one in Canada, I was big Habs fan and even bigger when you joined Montreal Canadiens. Your personnality, charisma, intelligence, Teamwork and leadership on and outside of ice made me very proud of all European people (don't forget that we are neigbhours!!! :) ) I was very sad to hear that you are leaving Montreal and that you will join Ottawa Sens. Gainey didn't fight for you at all. Montreal Canadiens will not be same without you. Although you will be now closer to me and you will wear different jersey, in my heart you will always be "bleu,blanc,rouge" HABS number 27. I wish you all the best in Ottawa. Be always who you are and make proud all Russian/Serbian people all around the world.

I am also very sad today to see that it is really over with the Canadiens. You are a great player, but more importantly a great human being. It's a big loss for the Canadiens, Montréal and Québec to see you leave. At least, you will be just next door! I wish you all of best for the future, to you and your family.

What a strange feeling tonight! I'm so sad to see you leave the HABS and at the same time I couldn't be happier to hear you are going to the HABS closest neighbour ... the SENS. I was so afraid it would become so hard to see you play again and now I just can't wait for the tickets to go on sale. I hope you have seen all that your fans in MTL were ready to do to try to keep you with us. I hope you have felt our love where ever you were. You deserve nothing but the best. Alexei don't forget us, WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU! When you'll come visit us in MTL prepare yourself for the biggest HUG you ever had. MTL can be a tough place sometimes but when we love someone he stays in our hearts, our minds and our souls for a very long time. And if ever some wouldn't welcome you the right way, please just smile back at them and remember that they are doing it only out of fear of the damages you can and will do against our beloved HABS. Hey Alex ... I don't know if you really read this messages but .... whatever I just want to say to you that I'm very sad but happy in the same time that you are going in Ottawa. I don't think we still deserved you, here in Montreal. People are never happy of what they see and we are not the niciest people in the world but we have all default. We had a good team before, when Richard and Lafleur were playing, then the team was not so good (That what's I heard) and you arrived coming from Pittsburg and you give new blood to the team. Then the team starts to win and here I came. I saw you playing on the Tv and I was like Wow he's very good. Then you become my favourite player in a very fast time. But not only me, of a lot of people too. This year, I thought you'll be the next Captain because of Koivu's gone but you're gone too (so Youppi ! should be the next captain) and the team I knew is not the same now because everybody's gone ( a lot of) I thought that maybe you'll stay with all this changes so I was Okay but now you're gone and I think I'm gonna to follow you in your carrier so I'm gonna to glue the Sens logo on my CH shirt with your name in the back and maybe I'm going to see you playing in Ottawa. I have a BIG respect for you because you are such a good player and we have to win the respect and you won it! So good luck in your new team and kick Carey Price's but when you’re gonna be playing against Montreal because I want to see you win ( And Mr. Gainey will not gonna be proud) Make me proud to wear your shirt and if you see somebody with a Sens Logo print on her shirt think about me =D Good luck and I'm always gonna to remember you ... because love is always hope ... Dear Alex It's a sad day for us, Canadien's fans. It's going to be difficult to watch you play with the Sens. We won't ever know if you wanted to stay with the Habs or not. Thanks for all the years of magic on the ice of Bell Center. You will be missed dearly. The only good news is that Ottawa is not too far away....
Je suis des plus déçues qu' Alex Kovalev n'ait eu de contrat avec le Canadien. Je l'aurais vu capitaine de cette équipe avec toute l'expérience qu'il a et tous ces nouveaux joueurs. qui viennent de s'ajouter. Tant qu'aux autres joueurs, dont le contrat n'a pas été renouvelé, me laissent complètement indifférente. Mais pour Alex Kovalev c'est autre chose.
Bonne chance avec les Sénateurs d'Ottawa . Ta présence avec le Canadiens ne seras jamais oublié .
If you do happen to end up with another team this season (hopefully not) I wish you well. I appreciate what you did for the Habs with your exciting style of play even with Gainey's lack of ability of finding you some talented line-mates to help you out during games. Some games it seemed like you were a one man wrecking crew on the ice. I'm looking forward to another awesome season from you.
Monday- July 6th 2009 Sadly, it's time to say GOOD-BYE...... Will we, your fans, ever know if changing teams was really the objective you were aiming for ? Did you take a gamble and lose ? I certainly hope we can get your version of the situation before you leave us, but we all have to live with the outcome anyway. I do not look foreward at all to next season without you being part of the team. .We will miss you, but we wiil get over it eventually. I wish you all the best, and a good contract with a team in our division..... then we will see you play once in a while. I might to root for les Canadiens when you play against us !!!! PLEASE FIND A WAY TO SAY GOOD-BYE TO ALL YOUR MTL FANS......
