Since the days with the rangers i followed Alex. When he got traded to montreal...it was like a dream come true. I am a true fan of Mr. Kovalev. I will miss number 27 wearing the bleu blanc rouge, but i support his decision. I cant wait to see him with Ottawa vs the habs. Go habs Go but more importantly... Go kovy Go.

I am so sad you are not back with the CH. Why did you not sign with them if you wanted to stay in Montreal. The first offer was pretty good enough. Alex, we will miss you so much. Dommage!
Dear Alex: My daughter (9 years old) and I were very disappointed to hear that you were leaving the Canadians. However, we will keep on being fans. Hi Alex, I just want to thank you for all you did for the Montreal Canadiens team, from 2003-2004 to 2008-2009. You may know it, but you really are the one who boosted the interest for hockey in Montreal, after rollercoaster seasons. I'm sure every Habs' fan will remember you for as long as they will live. Your amazing hands, your awesome wrist shot, mixed with finesse unseen since the beautiful years and your great leadership make it very tough to see you leave for Ottawa. I will remember a lot of things you did with the Habs' jersey on. First, your 2-goal performance against Boston in round 1 of the '04 playoffs. Second, your 1goal and 2 assists against Ottawa in december of '05, when you came back from an injury. You were just unbelievable. Third, your tying goal against the Rangers was just amazing. Fourth, the goal you scored without your helmet was great. You looked just like Guy Lafleur and Jesus Christ. Also, all what you do for children make you a very good person. But more importantly, i will always remember the 16 games i saw you play at the Bell Centre, always cheering for you, with my Kovalev jersey on. You'll be missed a lot...anyway, good luck for the rest of your career, you deserve it.
